Igniting Curiosity, Cultivating Confidence

Primary & Extracurricular Programs: Cultivating Holistic Development

Welcome to the Primary Program (ages 3-6 years) and our diverse Extracurricular Activities at Visionary Montessori Academy. This critical growth phase, often termed the “conscious phase” of the absorbent mind, builds foundational blocks for lifelong learning and self-exploration. Our strategy focuses on unlocking each child’s potential, fostering a profound love for learning and encouraging independence, initiative, and broadened cultural exposure.

Empowering Young Learners

Freedom & Responsibility

We foster independence and self-direction, allowing children to select activities that engage their interest and promote ownership of their educational experiences.

Hands-on Discovery

Our multi-sensory educational materials ignite genuine understanding across disciplines, from language and math to science and beyond, offering dynamic, immersive learning.

The Mixed-Age Classroom

Our classrooms blend multiple age groups, a signature element of Montessori education, enhancing peer learning, community feeling, and cooperation. Older students consolidate their knowledge by teaching the younger ones, who in turn are inspired by their older peers.

Love of “Work”

Individual exploration is a key element, but group activities are equally vital for holistic development. We incorporate group lessons, shared responsibilities, and recreational moments to boost social skills, empathy, and collaboratively.

Beyond the Classroom

Connecting classroom learnings to the real world, our curriculum extends beyond traditional boundaries. Field trips, cultural engagements, and hands-on projects foster curiosity and global consciousness.

Kindergarten Reimagined

Our Montessori approach includes kindergarten as a natural extension of the Primary experience. Children continue their journey of self-directed learning, working at their own pace. This cultivates a sense of confidence and solidifies foundational knowledge to prepare them for a successful transition into elementary school or further Montessori education.

Extracurricular Activities

Expanding upon our Primary Program, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities intended to spur personal development and enrich our students’ educational journey. These activities range from art and music programs to science clubs and physical education classes, all aimed at providing a varied, holistic approach to learning and personal development.
